I’ve spent all of my coaching career seeking out the best way to make my players better. I am a firm believer that off the field training in our sport is just as important as on the field workouts.
This year I came across Dr. Elliott in my research and the more I researched the more he seperated himself from the rest of the pack of baseball trainers.

Dr. Marcus Elliott has taken the baseball training world by storm in the last couple of years. Dr. Elliott and his team at P3 in Santa Barbara is dedicated to applying cutting edge science for optimal athletic achievement. He has trained some of the world’s best athletes including those at the U.S. Olympic Training Center, the Australian Institute of Sport, and the Sports Science Institute of South Africa. He has trained athletes from a wide variety of sports. Since 1998, Dr. Elliott’s primary focus has been on peak performance and injury prevention in U.S. professional sports, including football, baseball, basketball, volleyball and soccer.

This week I spent 3 days at his facility getting to know him, his staff and many of the major league players he trains. The facility is top notch and the staff are not only experts but do a great job of creating a place where players feel comfortable and challenged. Of the 20-25 professional players that I met and spoke with over my 3 days there, every one of them had great things to say about their experiences and training with Dr. Elliott and P3. A few players used the words “life changing” as well.
I’m excited to see what Dr. Elliott has in store for the baseball world in the future. If you’re interested in learning more about Dr. Elliott or P3 Performance please visit
